In 2007, the world philosophical community celebrated the 200th anniversary of the publication of the outstanding work of the brilliant German philosopher G.V.F. Hegel "Phenomenology of the Spirit." In honor of this event, an international conference was held at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was attended by prominent hegelologists from Russia, Germany, USA, England, Japan, Lithuania. This book is based on reports made at the conference, or texts specially submitted by their authors for publication.
