The problems of ensuring assembly accuracy are outlined, including the calculation of non-rigid dimensional chains, virtual assembly technology, issues of basing in assembly joints and ensuring assembly quality through technological compensation. Advanced assembly methods are considered: assembly using ultrasound, using adhesives and automation of assembly processes, as well as issues of technological heredity in assembly production.
