The poetic talent of Agnia Barto has long been recognized by readers, small and large. The first book by Agnia Barto was published in 1925, when the author was 19 years old. Barto's social position was determined from her first steps in literature: modernity is her main theme, children are the main characters, the upbringing of high citizenship is her constant task, understood very widely and solved in its own way, diverse and free. Loyalty to this position, political and pedagogical instinct, peculiar, immediately distinguishable from all intonation of lively colloquial speech, genuine children's dictionary, cheerful rhythms and humor made her one of the favorite authors.
