The book examines little-known pages of the development of Russian architecture in Manchuria during the construction and operation of the Sino-Eastern Railway. the character and stylistic features of Russian buildings, the work of Russian architects, church Orthodox architecture, the fate and activities of immigrants from Russia during their emigration are investigated. The fate of Russians - architects and engineers, artists and priests - is shown by the author in a general mosaic of emigration paintings, presented to him as Russian Atlantis.
