The book was based on conversations between Nikolai and Marina Svanidze with Dmitry Medvedev at a time when he was first a presidential candidate and later an elected president of the Russian Federation. A variety of topics are touched upon here - from politics to music and raising children, biographical information is presented, as well as memories and impressions of Dmitry Medvedev of people close to him.
