In this work, the author, on the basis of historical literature and archival materials, covers the issue of the participation of representatives of the Ossetian people in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878, cites material testifying to the courage and courage shown by Ossetian soldiers and facts showing the commonwealth of Russian, Ossetian and other peoples of the Caucasus on the battlefield.
