Data on composition, cleaning and production methods and operational properties of transformer oils are given. Oil additives are described, which increase their durability and electrophysical indicators, issues of mutual influence of oil and solid materials used in transformer building, as well as methods of protecting oil from oxidation and moisture are considered.
