The book contains anti-religious folklore of three peoples - Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian. Numerous fairy tales, proverbs, sayings, ditties testify to the strength and depth of the anticlerical and anti-religious oral creativity of the people. All works are grouped in the book in sections ("God and the Saints," "Devil and Unclean Forces," "Paradise and Hell," "Church and Worship," "Priests and Monks," etc.).
