The textbook describes the subject and tasks of labor economics, gives basic concepts and characteristics, describes social and labor relations in the economy of market-type labor, describes the problems of employment and unemployment, social regulation in labor collectives, analysis and audit in the labor sphere, international regulation of social and labor relations. Labor management mechanisms at the enterprise, productivity and labor efficiency, indicators used to measure labor productivity, issues of regulation and remuneration are considered.
