Considering social evolution against a background of inorganic and organic within the framework of universal evolutionism leads to conclusions that are paradoxical in terms of traditional ideas: 1. By creating stress pressure, disasters can contribute to the evolution of society. In order to evolve faster, the social world uses two "home remedies" to generate such pressure - war and a market that provides constant directed pressure on members of society. Being more effective than war, the market is gradually crowding it out. 2. The popular scenario of the energy future, associated with the inhibition of the growth of energy consumption, is directed against the vector of evolution and therefore threatens humanity with death. More promising is the transition to energy, built on the heat cycle and therefore at the forefront of the vector of evolution.
