The main packages of applied programs used in medicine are presented. The material on evidence-based medicine, determination of operational characteristics of diagnostic methods, ROC analysis is presented in sufficient detail. The basics of working with medical literature, which are based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, are highlighted.
