In the monograph, on the basis of newly put into circulation and already published sources from Serbian, Russian and American archives, the issues of relations between Yugoslavia and the superpowers and its activity along the line of non-alignment against the background of the most important international events and crises of the 1960s are considered. The author's goal was to follow the changes in the policy of non-alignment and the evolution of the principle of equidistance from the two opposing blocs, which predetermined the success of the foreign policy strategy and the special position of Yugoslavia in the system of international relations.
