On the basis of historical documents recently revealed in the archives of various countries, the overwhelming majority of which were first introduced into scientific circulation, the activities of the founder of the national statehood of Azerbaijani Turks Mammad Emin Rasulzade during their emigration in 1922-1943 are rethought. The study covers various periods of M.E. Rasulzade - from his first steps to create organizational structures of Azerbaijani political emigration to active participation in the Promethean movement as one of the leaders of the entire Caucasian emigration.
