The Intellectual History series publishes the works of leading representatives of Western theoretical thought. These works, each of which has become a cultural event, pave new paths in science, offer original methods and approaches to the study of the history of thought. The books in this series are designed to acquaint the reader with famous names in the West, but little-known in Russia, to fill significant gaps in the field of humanitarian knowledge.
