The collection publishes 37 cases of awarding 37 governors and their comrades, 14 customs heads, a merchant of a Chinese caravan and an appraiser of the Siberian order for Siberian service. These documents allow us to consider the organization of the voivodship and customs administration, the problems of Russian colonization of the region and interethnic interaction on its territory, relations between state power and communities of Siberian pioneers, the state of public finances of Siberia of the 17th - early 18th centuries. The published documents are of fundamental importance not only for the study of all-Russian history, but also for the reconstruction of the history of the emergence and the first century of the existence of the cities of Berezov, Verkhoturye, Yeniseisk, Ilimsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kuznetsk, Narym, Tobolsk, Tomsk, Turinsk, Tyumen and Yakutsk. The publication of documents is accompanied by introductory historiographic and archaeographic articles, comments and indexes.
