The publication consists of author's essays published for the first time and published in the central newspaper of the republic "Krymskaya Pravda," weekly "Bospor" and "Coast," the newspaper "Kirovets," the magazines "Crimean Holidays" and "Terra Tavrika" in 2007-2014. In fact, this is a new type of guide, where by means of generalizations of facts based on proven sources and opinions of authoritative specialists, local history features of various places of Crimea through which the Tavrida federal highway passes are disclosed. Little-known or completely forgotten places and events are presented. Particular attention is paid to the military-patriotic side of Crimean history during the years of the Crimean and Great Patriotic Wars, the post-war problems of memory preservation.
