The book is an attempt to systematically present statistical physics together with thermodynamics, mainly based on the Gibbs method - the method most general and applicable to all issues of statistical physics. The book is designed for employees of research institutes and for students of physical departments of universities and pedagogical institutes, as well as those universities where theoretical physics passes.
