This monograph aims to study the process of penetration of Russian capital into the Bukhara emirate, to determine its role in socio-economic changes, in particular, in the development of commodity-money relations, the formation of the domestic market, the destruction, albeit at a very slow pace, of the patriarchal feudal foundations of the life of the Bukhara population.
