The book revises the established views on the formation of the language and culture of the oldest Slavs, the problems of Slavic ethnogenesis and the ancestral home of the Slavs. Based on a continuous survey of the vocabulary of Slavic languages ​ ​ and its etymology, the author puts forward his concept, deepening the chronology of the formation of the Proto-Slavic language and ethnic group, arguing in many respects the central position of the Slavic language in Europe (the Danube ancestral home of the Slavs) and in the Indo-European language version.
