This publication is the first experience of systematization of normative acts on the establishment of uniforms, insignia for the police and the rules for wearing them over the seventy-year period of the existence of the police. This work does not mention the insignia and uniforms of the police of the 1920s that existed in Ukraine, Bukhara, the Far East and Crimea.
