The tutorial covers the main tasks solved using measuring information systems (IIS), classification, principles of construction and structure of IIS, hardware used in them, as well as algorithms for processing information in IIS for various purposes. Much attention is paid to the analysis of the uncertainty of the measurement results and the reliability of the results obtained. Basic approaches to metrological support of IMS are described.
