In this work, the author offers the reader a monographic study on the movement of the Decembrists, the result of many years of work. The proposed work does not purport to be exhaustive. The great multitude of materials preserved from the first stage of the Russian revolutionary struggle, and the richness of their content, naturally, cause and will bring to life numerous works. If the present study helps further study the question, the author will consider his goal achieved.
