The book contains the results of many years of research on the alpine flora of Altai. Based on the original materials, a summary of the flora was compiled, including 996 species. For each species, a brief description of the geographical distribution and ecological-cenotic confinement is given. An analysis of the flora was carried out, issues of peculiarities of florogenesis in various regions of Altai are discussed. Patterns of geographical changes in floristic indicators were revealed by comparing 22 specific flora of the Altai Mountains.
