The book introduces the basics of social psychology and at the same time - with one of the approaches in this science. Social psychology consists of areas that differ in subject, theory and research methods. Directions are grouped into two orientations: psychological and sociological. Social psychology was born by the joint efforts of psychology and sociology, but so far parents have different opinions about the purpose of their brainchild. The anecdote says that at an American university, a sociologist and psychologist read a social psychology course for one audience. Students remained confident that they listened to different subjects. The reader has the right to ignore the concerns of scientists and read the book as "social psychology in general."
