Vytautas Montvila (1902-1941) - one of the founders of Lithuanian Soviet poetry, shot by the Nazis in July 1941. His works (lyrical and satirical) express the thoughts and aspirations of ordinary workers in Lithuania, filled with deep love for them. The publication is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the poet's birth.
