The history of the development of radiochemistry and its main sections are presented: general radiochemistry, chemistry of radioactive elements, chemical consequences of radioactive decay and the method of radioactive indicators. Particular attention is paid to general radiochemistry. Modern methods of radionuclides production and application are reflected.
