The book examines the main provisions of the strict thermodynamic theory of phase equilibrium between liquid and steam, gives a theory of open evaporation and distillation processes. Much attention is paid to the thermodynamic-topological structural laws of diagrams of azeotropic mixtures, the phenomena of azeotropy and the rules for converting phase diagrams are described.
