The anthology "Andrei Bely: pro et contra" brings together various points of view of contemporaries on the largest symbolist writer and the place he occupies in Russian culture. The book consists of articles, essays, reviews belonging to the largest writers, publicists, critics, philosophers of the first third of the 20th century, as well as little-known authors, which together allow you to recreate the general picture of the perception of the work of Andrei Bely, to outline the contours of the image of the writer, which developed thanks to his diverse interpretations. A significant part of the materials included in the Anthology is extracted from periodicals of the 1900-1920s. and never reprinted.
