The book outlines in popular science form the physical foundations of laser technology. The characteristics of some foreign laser weapon control systems, reconnaissance systems and fiber-optic communication lines, as well as foreign and domestic devices and navigation systems are given. Safety measures are considered when working with laser devices. When writing the book, materials from open foreign and domestic scientific and technical literature were used. The book is designed for a wide range of specialists interested in the use of lasers in aviation.
