In the literature - both popular and scientific - the part of the theoretical foundations of antenna operation that is usually most often required by radio amateurs is extremely sparingly covered. In the first part of the book, an attempt is made to popularize some of the basic principles of the functioning of various types of antennas, both well known to radio amateurs and not very well known, but of practical interest to them.
