This book for the first time brings together the main works of Count S.D. Sheremetev, dedicated to the history of the Time of Troubles. Of greatest value is the publication of the archival manuscript "Rasstrig," located in the Sheremetev Foundation at RGADA. An original historian, S.D. Sheremetev developed an original version of the origin of False Dmitry I. His works are an interesting historiographic monument, an example of the application of the historical and local history method to the study of socio-political history, a rich body of evidence.
