In the first volume "Fundamentals of cosmetic chemistry. Basic Ingredients" reviewed modern ideas about the structure, functions and chemistry of human skin, classification and nomenclature of cosmetic ingredients used in the production of cosmetics. Separate chapters are devoted to the description of various categories of basic ingredients for cosmetics and the principles of their use, issues of creating natural cosmetics.
