The main purpose of the dissertation is to create a classification of reproduction forms of the Old Russian primary chronicle and the Old Icelandic royal sagas, which will allow describing the similarities and differences not only of these traditions in terms of their transmission, but also comparing them with other medieval manuscript traditions.
