The monograph analyzes the foreign policy covenants of the architect of Chinese reforms Deng Xiaoping and their impact on the foreign policy course of the fourth generation of leaders of the People's Republic of China, led by Hu Jintao. The first steps in the international arena of the fifth generation of the country's leaders, led by Xi Jinping, were considered. An assessment is given of the prospects for the further rise of China and its possible geo-political consequences.
