This document is a fairly detailed description of the main aspects of the implementation of MPLS technology in operator networks for the provision of Virtual Private Network service and derivative services. The document details issues related to the justification of the choice of MPLS-VPN technology; examples of solutions for intranet and extranet services are given, issues related to the provision of external services, the Internet and network management, aspects related to ensuring the quality of service and traffic engineering are considered, various options for organizing the access system and routing issues are given. The document is aimed at engineering personnel using or planning the use of this technology in their network, network designers and consultants whose area of ​ ​ interest extends to MPLS technology.
