The book tells about the formation and evolution of early cattle breeding as one of the main directions of a producing economy in a primitive society. The natural and cultural prerequisites for the transition to cattle breeding, the emergence of primary and secondary foci are investigated. The role of cattle breeding in the development of processes of social and property differentiation, in the development of culture and religious ideas is shown.
