The first scientific study of the history of Central Asia as part of the Seljukid state. Against the background of the history of Central Asia - the cradle of the Seljukid empire - the prerequisites for the formation of this state are revealed and the most important stages of its development, decline and disintegration into separate possessions and states are traced. An extensive panorama of events in the territory from the western borders of China and Mongolia to Egypt and the Mediterranean is given. The dynamics of agriculture, urban life, the state of crafts and trade, the development and evolution of agrarian feudal institutions are covered.
