Electrochemical, inductive, capacitive, mechanical, electromechanical and electrodynamic energy storage devices are considered. The focus is on the physical processes in drives, the features of their characteristics and mathematical models, as well as the comparison of drives of various types. The principles of technical implementation of energy storage devices are described and rational areas of their use are considered.
