Peter Maximilianovich Dulsky (1879-1956) - art critic and teacher. He is rightfully considered the founder of Kazan art studies. In the course of his work, he studied the architectural and artistic appearance of Kazan and the study of the most significant monuments of architecture, painting, and graphics. He took an active part in the construction of museums and the protection of monuments. He participated in the creation of the Union of Artists of the TASSR in the mid-30s and was its first chairman.
