The book is a guide to identifying the wild-growing and most widely cultivated or naturalized vascular plants of the Karelian Isthmus. The uniqueness of this publication, unlike other "Determiners" and "Flor," is given by about 1800 original illustrations, which accompany quite original keys for determining families, genera and species.
