The proposed book, as far as the author knows, is the first in the world literature systematic presentation of the main ideas and methods of interstellar gas dynamics. We did not at all strive for the completeness of the coverage of various problems of studying the movements of interstellar gas - and this is impossible in this rapidly developing field of astronomy.
