Paris poet, satirist, wit and duelist Cyrano de Bergerac is reputed to be a fearless and reckless fighter. He has no equal either on the battlefield or on the field of poetic competitions. Only one thing confuses Cyrano: he considers his huge nose an unbearable ugliness. One word "nose" is enough for him to challenge the interlocutor to a duel. Due to his "physical handicap," he is afraid to discover his love for cousin Roxanne.
