The history and ethnogenesis of the Crimean Tatars have not yet been the subject of special research. However, a number of works by historians, archaeologists, anthropologists and linguists to one degree or another affect these problems in connection with the solution of other main problems. The purpose of the work is to outline the main milestones of the ethnogenetic process of the Crimean Tatars.
