The undertaking provides a critical overview of existing water sample preparation methods and groundwater analysis methods. There are no uniform guidelines for the selection and analysis of iron-containing water. Unified methods of sampling and methods of systematic analysis of underground waters are proposed to obtain reliable and reproducible results of determining iron in underground waters.
