Mentor of Pushkin, many future Decembrists and figures of Russian culture who studied at the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, St. Petersburg Pedagogical Institute and University, of which he was a professor, author of a number of theoretical works and translator, A.I. Galich took an active part in the development of the philosophy of the Russian Enlightenment. Despite the significance of his activities, there is not a single monographic study of his work. The author of the proposed book seeks to fill this gap.
