Russian fairy tales mention living water and dead water. Dead water was used for two purposes: • firstly, it was given to drink any evil spirits (Snake Gorynych) before the battle and during the rest between battles - this evil spirits weakened; • secondly, before using living water to revive to life, dead water irrigated wounds and restored the INTEGRITY of the wounded or even cut into pieces dead bodies. The real job is DEAD WATER.
