The book was written by Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Gennady Alexandrovich Savitsky and Candidate of Medical Sciences Alexei Gennadievich Savitsky, who summarized more than 30 years of research experience in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence in women, accumulated in the Department of Operative Gynecology of the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology named after D.O. Otta RAMS. Particular attention in the book is paid to the pathophysiological aspects of the symptom of urinary incontinence with tension, the relationship of these aspects with the pathogenesis of various types of disorders of the mechanism of urinary retention.
