The book explores the Middle Dnieper group of settlements of the Early Bronze Age: their topography and layout, character and structure of dwellings; archaeological material obtained from excavations. Considerable attention is paid to the chronology and periodization of monuments, cultural affiliation and the historical fate of the Middle Dnieper group of settlements.
