Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, known to the whole world as Vanga, is a famous Bulgarian clairvoyant and fortuneteller. One of those whose supernatural abilities have never been in doubt even among the most notorious skeptics. This is all the more strange because in the Soviet years a rather ironic attitude towards all kinds of healers and soothsayers prevailed. But, despite this, Vanga's gift to "see the invisible" and "recognize the unknown" was not only in demand, but was practically put in the service of the state.
