Such people as the main character of the book strengthen us, show us an example of valor, honor, make us believe that Russia, the Russian Spirit and the Russian man, about whom they talked so much before and just as much about each such Hero, are alive. Many foreign military leaders admire the valor and heroism of our people, but even more they admire those who set an example of heroism and valor and thereby raise the Russian people. They admire there in the west, but here we do not notice each other.
